Season Illustration
Back in school, I was given the assignment to create illustrations that communicate a chosen word and theme affectively through the use of typographic elements accompanied by shapes and symbols.
The word I picked is ‘seasons’ in relations to the theme ‘Emotions’. Instead of focusing on its literal meaning, I decided to showcase the metaphorical definition. Following the concepts of ‘Seaons of Life’, I showcased the different phases a person goes through in their lifetime. Each letter focuses on a specific time period of a person’s life before it flows on to the next chapter.
With the seven letters, I illustrated seven individual chapters of a person’s life, from their birth to essentially, death.
